Glamour Doll Eyes: Halloween 2016 Set #2

Hey there geekonistas!

Feeling that Halloween spirit yet? If not, don't worry, I still have a ton more Halloween special collections and boxes to review! Starting with today - let's take a look at the Glamour Doll Eyes Limited Edition Halloween set!

In case you are unfamiliar, Glamour Doll Eyes is a cruelty-free, indie company that produces loose and pressed eye shadow pigments, blushes, and lip products. As with most indie makeup companies, they really go all out at Halloween, creating two sets of four loose eyeshadow pigments plus some lip products. These sets are limited edition, but you're in luck - They're not quite sold out yet and you can still grab them on the website! Each set is $18.00 plus shipping, and do not qualify for the monthly GWP.

I only have one of the two sets to share with you, as Set #2 contained the most colors I was interested in and are unique to my collection. As usual, all loose pigments are swatched over Geek Chic Cosmetics Power Up Primer.

The first color up today is called "Fatal Thoughts". This is a deep warm red base with an explosion of pink glitter and a slight metallic red sheen.

Next up we have "Zombie Heart", aka "The reason I bought this set". This is a green base with an intense pink shine. Gorgeous but make sure you wear a base under it as it stained my eyelids pretty dramatically when I wore it all day.

"Deadly Games" is a Smurf blue base with a blue sheen, blue sparkles, and just a touch of gold sparkle.

And the final color in this set is called "Tragic Affair". This purple base contains a glitterbomb of green and copper sparkles.

Final Thoughts: As usual, some stellar colors and lid art from Glamour Doll Eyes' Halloween offering. Although there doesn't seem to be a particular theme this year (aside from "Halloween") as far as quality and uniqueness are concerned I can definitely recommend this set. The other set, #1, seems to be a bit more neutral, with more grays and a nice copper shade, so that is a nice option for people who prefer more subtle colors.

What do you think of the Glamour Doll Eyes Halloween sets? Are you going to pick any up? Let me know in the comments!

And thanks for hanging out!
