FCS Advent Continues, Plus Kiss My Sass Lip Addicts Monthly for December 2015

Hey there geekonistas!

It's that time again, to tear the wrapping off Day Three of the Fortune Cookie Soap "12 Days of Christmas" box! And stay tuned afterwards, I've also got this month's Lip Addicts Anonymous from Kiss My Sass Cosmetics to share!

And today's item is...

A whipped cream (FCS' body butter formula) in the scent "Halloween Town"! The card describes this scent as "buttery cutout cookie with frosting sprinkles and a thick smear of bubblegum. Probably not a cookie I would want to eat, but the scent is nice! I definitely pick up on the bubblegum first, followed by a fainter scent of cookie. FCS has a really nice, thick, rich formula - it's not fast absorbing but it is very hydrating and softening. I'll probably end up taking this cute little jar to work, my hands get very dry from the combination of handling books all day and using sanitizer.

And, sadly, we have come to the last Lip Addicts Anonymous subscription from Kiss My Sass Cosmetics. The owner has now fully migrated her shop over to Etsy, and will no longer be offering recurring subscriptions. This subscription will be available in her shop, but you will have to actually go there to purchase it every month.

This month the theme is simply "Favorite Things" and it features some of the owner's favorite colors, scents, and products. Included is a lipstick, sample sizes of cream eye shadow and highlighter, a sample size perfume oil, and as an extra, a loose pigment from guest indie Glamour Doll Eyes.

The lipstick this month is called "Eliza Lane" and its a lovely blue based red.

The cream eye shadow is a deep royal purple with a purple shimmer called "The Stars Will Cry". This is actually the first time I have tried KMS' cream eye shadow formula and I'm pretty impressed! It's not a super soft formula, but it's got really great pigmentation.

Also a first for me is KMS' cream highlighter. This one is in the shade "Cupcakes & Kisses" and is described as "a hint of pink with a golden shimmer". This formula seemed a little softer and easily blendable. On the left is full strength, on the right is blended out.

The bath and body sample for this month is a perfume oil called "Santa's Mustache" and it smells just like peppermint hot cocoa! Yum.

And finally we have the guest indie item from Glamour Doll Eyes! This is a sample size of "Peace, Love, & Confetti" a super sparkly silver treat of a loose eye shadow pigment. This is definitely going into a New Year's look!

Final Thoughts: I've had a lot of fun with this subscription and I'm sorry to see it go, but hey, that opens up a spot for a new subscription, right? Any suggestions for ones I should try for?
